The big red wire on the starter solenoid goes to the battery, and you can use any solid point on the engine for ground. Do not use the alternator terminal to start, but you can use it to charge, which might be slower but safer.

better yet, jump to alternator red terminal to open trunk, then jump to battery to start.

My Battery is completely dead. I know the battery is located in the trunk. But, with no power, I can not open the trunk. So, how to open the trunk for 2006 BMW 750Li without power? And, if I have to jump...

You do not need to access the battery to jump start your 7 Series. There is a metal terminal under the hood for jump starting your car or jumping another car. It is located near the passenger at the rear and has a red cap with a PLUS symbol on it. Remove the red cap and attach the postive side of the cable. Attach the negative side to the large nut just to the left.

Also, to open your trunk manually insert the metal key in the key hole next to the button that you push above your license plate.

Where is the battery of a 530i located

trunk, bottom right side behind carpet.Undo the plastic clip on the wall of the carpet with a flat-head screwdriver. battery terminals are placed in the hood for jump starting convenience.

1998 bmw 528i battery died how to open trunk. cant get in with the key

You can jump your 98 528i from under your hood. On top of the center of your engine there is a positive (+) sign. You have to pry the cover open and there is also a negative ground spot to the left of that. Bmw is pretty smart!

I cant figure out how to jump start my 1993 BMW 325is

Either hook the jumper cables to the battery in the trunk or hook the postive to the postive stud under the hood( passenger side near the firewall) and the ground to the block.
