Question about 2000 Ford Expedition

1 Answer

Back of truck sitting noticably lower. When I looked more closely, I noticed that the drivers side (in the back) is sitting lower than the passenger side. The wheel well on the drivers side is closer to the tire than on the passenger side, again in the back.

Sounds like a collapsed shock... or maybe a broken coil spring... Look for a break in the spring that sags lowest...

Hi, I have a 2004 Nissan Sentra 1.8, a few weeks ago I noticed oil leaking from the passenger side of the engine.

Sounds more like a valve cover gasket if it leaks on one side. If the oil leaks down the back look at the intake gasket.

We have a 2003 Saturn L200. It made it to work one day just fine, but then on the way home, the passenger's foot well was completely soaked by the time we got it in the driveway. Took it out again to see...

Your A/C drain tube is plugged up and the water condensation that normally drains out side the car is now draining out of your lower a/c vents. The passenger side on the out side where your A/C evaporator (close to the blower motor) there should be a drain tube for the water to come out.

In most cases after time, the tube will get plugged up dirt and grim. Find the tube and clean out the end to ensure there is no restrictions.

Thank you for using fixya and good luck

Rear end unstable when weight is shifted to passenger side

You are going to have to get under there and give everything as good look. Check all bushings for wear and looseness, check springs to make sure they aren't broken and check struts for leakage. Struts are gas-charged and if one has leaked out usually there will be residual oil at the top where the shaft goes in. When checking suspension, check with wheels supported (on ramps) and check free (jack under chassis, wheels and axle hanging) Don't just look...try to move stuff to see if there is any play there.
Personally, I wouldn't drive it 'till it's fixed. In an emergency situation you will loose control if the back end isn't tracking correctly!

Adjustment of headlights...how to

There is an adjustment screw for the headlight located on the headlight housing. You should just have to turn it clockwise (I believe it requires an allen wrench) and that will raise the light beam higher. If you need further assistance let me know.
Thanks and enjoy,
Lee
