Question about 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix
Remove the tire, seperate the lower ball joint from the knuckle, remove the axle nut, push the axle out of the hub, use a prybar to gently pop the axe out of the transmission (make sure you have a drain pan under the trans to catch any fluid that may come out). When reinstalling make sure you tighten the axle nut to the proper spec. This will keep your wheel bearing from going bad.
