Where is the blower motor in a 2003 trailblazer

Remove the Glove box and the lower panel then disconnect the electrical connector to the fan motor and remove the 3 5.5mm screws holding the motor and the motor slides downward and out.

Sounds like resistor...plug in bottom/side of blower motor usually behind glove box...may b able to reach it go in under glovebox

I have a 2003 cheveolet trailblazer the blower sometimes still runs after car is off and will driving the blower will stop worrking then comes back on


Hello,, this is a normal operation of the cooling fan unit, this unit functions independently regardless of the key position ,,,,All is good in your world today,,,unless you are talking about the Heater blower motor and not the engine cooling fan located behind the radiator ?

The air on my 2003 trailblazer only blows when on 4 or 5

The resistor pack is mounted next to the blower motor and is located behind the glovebox.

you have a short to power which will cause it to stay on constantly check your blower motor resistor pack to ensure that it is working and check the wires going to the blower to make sure you have a power and a ground
