    Your fuel pump is located under the pass.floor under the car there is a little cover you will need 10mm socket to remove it.

you fuel pump relay is called DME relay and it is in your trunk fuse box.Take the cover of and you will see it marked as DME

Where is the fuel pump on a 1987 porsche 928 S4?

Hello there

The fuel pump is located in the rear of the car right next to the fuel tank.

From behind the car you need to remove protective (L shape) metal cover (right rear)and then you will see the fuel pump.

why on earth can't you buy a repair manual? it is not a 200 dollar car. if you can afford gas for it then buy yourself a manual, they are about 10 whole dollars on eBay.

Car wont start .

You will not be able to hear the fuel pump on that model. First you have to determine if you get fuel and have spark. If it is a fuel problem, replace the DME relay first. Very common. They act up and fail without warning. Part is cheap and located in the fuse box. Next would be the fuel pump.
If it is spark related it may be the Flywheel Reference Sensors. There are two and the cost about $100 each.

Your problem can also be with the Bosch ECU, these are prone to failing and also control the fuel pump, they can however be rebuilt.
