what motor?? Most are changed with a special tool. The pump is driven by small belt on the right side of the motor. Its the only belt on that side.

you need to find which pulley is the belt tensioner. use a socket and a breaker bar to lift the tensioner. once the belt loosen, slide the belt off one of the pulleys close to you. then slowly release the tensioner.

What is the belt routing


It depends on the make of vehicle and there is NO set way to route a belt as it varies from one make to another. Should be a sticker under the hood showing the routing of it. If not, contact the dealer or get a Haynes or Chilton manual.

you need a serpentine belt installation tool. it is a 1 inch wide 2 foot long 3/16 inch thick steel flat with holes cut out for the tensioner bolts to fit in.there is no room for a socket.the tensioner is slackened first,then the belt can go on.you need the tool
