What dose this code mean for avolvo v50d o9 a610

Most likely this is ADM (Additive Dosing Module) error in diesel engines with DPF. Check in hidden diagnostic menu if ADM is reporting DTCs.

2005 saturn ion 3 trouble code P0300

A P0300 code indicates random, multiple misfires were detected. You eliminated the possibility of ignition system faults by replacing the ignition module, the coils, and the spark plugs (unless the replacement part(s) were no good). However you did not mention the ignition wires which are another probable cause. In addition, there could be vacuum leaks due to damaged hoses or improper routing. Consider also fuel contamination or a problem with the fuel system.

Code 700 is a general fault with the transmission or trans control module.
Usually you get other codes in addition to 700 which would point to a specific problem.
Its possible the connection between the trans control module and the engine computer failed.

Vehichel will not shift into high gear,...has error code po700

The code is for a general fault with the trans control module - there should be another code for the actual problem. You may have to have someone try to scan the body computer in addition to the engine computer, or the trans module may have failed.

I have a 55 plate Mazda 3 with a Error Code of P2584 Fuel Additive Control Module Requested MIL Illumination. Any pointers as to the possible fault?

Hi there:
This means the DPF additive needs topping up/re-filling. This additive is injected into the engine with the diesel to clean out the DPF filter (automatic system).

These fault codes appear when the additive level has dropped too low preventing the automatic injection of additive.

The cure is to have the additive re-filled, and the DPF 'primed' using Mazda diagnostic equipment.

Check HERE additional details.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Loss of power with Engine Light and Check VSC in ls 400

First I suggest scanned tyhe computer module, in order to know what fault code is stored there; note and send us this code number for additional details.

Sometimes, Autozone or AutoShop wth scanner reader codes make this job for free.

Obd2 p0700

Hi John:
DTC P0700 - Transmission Control System Malfunction
Many vehicles have a control module for the automatic transmission called a transmission control module (TCM). The engine control module (ECM) communicates with the TCM to monitor the automatic transmission for faults.

If the TCM detects a fault in the automatic transmission and sets a transmission related fault code, the ECM is informed of this also and sets a P0700 in the ECM memory.

This illuminates the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) to let the driver know there is a problem. If this code is present and the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) is illuminated that basically means there is at least one transmission code set in the TCM's memory. P0700 is an informational code only. It doesn't point to a direct fault in the engine, only a general fault in the transmission. More diagnosis is necessary to identify what the transmission fault is. This requires a scan tool that will communicate with the transmission module.

Symptoms of a P0700 DTC may include:
Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination
The transmission may exhibit drivability problems like slipping, etc.

More often then not, the cause of this code is that there is a transmission problem of some kind. The TCM detected the problem and set a code. P0700 means that a fault code is stored in the TCM. However this doesn't rule out the possibility of a failed PCM or TCM (unlikely).

Possible Solutions:
For a P0700 the only real solution is to acquire a scan tool that will communicate with the transmission control module. Extracting this code from the TCM will be the first step in repairing the fault in the transmission.

If the TCM compatible scan tool will not communicate with the Transmission Control Module then that is a good indication that there may be a fault with the TCM itself.

Fee free to contact us if need additional details. Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

My check engine light is on...all other indicators (oil, batter, temp, brakes) seem to be fine

When check engine light turn on, some sensor is sending one fault code at PCM (Powertrain Control Module), to know exxactly what is this fault code I suggest scanned the PCM with the scanner reader. Some autozone or Autoshop make this for free. Send us back this code number for additional details and clues to solve it.

Keep in touch.
