If you're doing it by yourself, drop the fuel tank.
Make sure it's almost out of gas first.
If you pull the bed, it's the bolts that hold the bed in, the wiring to the tail lights, and the tank filler neck to take loose. Then you have to pick up the bed of the pickup (a couple hundred pounds).
To get the tank out, it's the filler neck, and unbolt the straps that hold it in. Depending on how much fuel is in it, is how much it's going to weigh.
But as you loosen the straps, you can use a floor jack to hold the tank up. Same when putting it back in.
So I would go with taking the tank out, and not pulling the bed off.

If some one has access to the spare remote at your home, call them on your cell phone. Hold your (or anyone's) cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the other person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the phone. Your car will unlock. and it works. Distance is no object.

I Normaly use A 36" Extention w/ Swivel Socket, Or Lieve Side Bolts In And Drop Cross Member to Lower Rear of Trans to Gain Exess to TOP Bell Bolts one or BOTH Together Should Do the TRICK. Let Me Know!! And Please Dont forget to Rate me , Thank You Much !!
