SOURCE: 1989 lesabre engine codes

26 is a quad driver failure, 41 is a cam sensor failure. I can give you a test procedure for 26 but for 41 you likely need to replace the magnet that is in the cam gear for the cam sensor pick-up.

SOURCE: codes 17 and 41 even after cam replacement

Check and make sure your battery cables are clean and tight. You may want to check your ground wires inside the car, under the carpet. I had a bad ground under there.

SOURCE: 2002 buick lesabre stalls code 0102

This is most likely a vacuum leak code, but it can also be alot of other things.

Trouble code 41: my car was stalling all the time, and after a while would not start, (didnot turn over), or start and the die immediatly, so I replaced the cam shaft sensor, like it said.in the chilton...

Cam sensor signal was not received by PCM for the last 2 seconds while engine was running. You may have a bad crank sensor and balancer that is coming apart.

Stalls after run for a while. Sets code 17. Will restart after a while. Code 17 is only code set.

code 17 I believe is the cam sensor circuit. It could be the sensor is failing, but its also possible the maginet on the cam gear is cracked or broken. If this is the case, the cam gear & chain will need to be replaced.

1992 Buick LeSabre Custom....180K on the odometer...stalls at low speeds....sometimes at highway speeds without warning...error code 17 is popular...I have a 41 also but the magnet has been missing 2 years...

dont know what the code are w/out looking them up however i do know that is a common problem when ignition coils or 1 ign coil goes bad. or distributor shaft wears out, which i dont think 92 buicks have. your 92 buick should be ign. coils . ignition coils need tested at a auto part store.most are free test call them to make sure.

Engine misses with code 41 and service engine soon light on

The code 41 is indicating an EST control issue. I would check you connection at the ignition module, make sure the connector is locked securely and there is no corrosion in the connector or terminal pins on the ignition module.
The EST is your electronic spark timing control, the module is not switching over to ECM controlled timing. The ECM sets the code when it can not take over control of the timing. If the connections look good, you likely have an ignition module that has gone bad.
Good luck and let me know.
