Check all the tires with a pressure gauge and fill each tire to 33 PSI when cold (not right after driving). Also, if the light does not go off after you perform this procedure, then you will have to check and fill the spare tire to 33 psi to get the engine to shut off. Most Jeeps don't have a sensor on the spare, but I thought I would mention it.

My 2005 Liberty's light kept going on. The first time, it was the spare tire that was low. However, it kept going on. The dealership finally replaced the light - twice. It was defective, so that could be the problem with yours.

First, check the tire pressure of the spare. If all tires are properly inflated, then one of the sensors are bad and must be replaced.

make sure you set the pressures to what the vehicle specs are. If this doestn help the sensors are in the wheels and the tire needs to be removed to access it.

The light on my 2005 jeep liberty keeps coming on saying my tire pressure is low, but I had it checked and it is now. What gives?

Defective sensor in tire. The sensor is actually inside the tire glued to the inside of rim. When you get new tires have it changed out.

I also have a 2005 jeep liberty with the same light on top left corner. horse-shoe with and exclamation in it.

That is the tire pressure sensor light. It will come on if one or more of the tires are over-inflated or under-inflated. It will also come on if there is a signal problem with one or more of the sensors.
