Could be a wiring short, but first put a 25amp fuse in it and see if it blows? if it does then you have a short somewhere,if it does not blow again you should be good to go.....

Where where do i find the fuse for the speedometer on a 2001 Crown Vic

There are three fuse's for the instrument cluster , all located in the central junction box (fuse panel ) inside the vehicle ,under the dash !
Fuse # 14 a 10 amp , fuse # 23 15amp. and #6 15amp . Look behind right and left kick panel . But i don't think this is a fuse problem , gauge itself could be bad .

Is there a manual release on the power seat for a 2001 Ford Winstar? I believe there is a short as the fuse blows as soon as push in and just want to set the seat to one position

you can try dissconnecting the power under the seat. Will ussually be a two wire harness. Wires are bigger than others that are present. Try replacing your fuse. If the fuse still blows you know the problem is not the seat. From there I would power the seat with two wires you can run directly from battery power. Put the seat where you want, and your good. Cheers

I dont know where the fuse is located for the power windows and dome lights.......

There are 2 fuse boxes / fuse panels in nearly every Ford product: one directly above the driver's left foot (when the driver is actually sitting in the driver's seat). The other is inside the engine compartment, on the right side - contains high current fuses.
The window fuses should be in the fuse box inside the car. It appears that fuses #10 (30AMP), #11 (15AMP) and #26 (10AMP) are the only relevant fuses associated with the power window circuit for this vehicle, according to the Ford wiring diagram. Hope this helps.

I think replacing fuse #26 should fix both the windows and the dome light.

10 A radio fuse keeps blowing. Can you put a bigger fuse in.

Yes but not recommended you could try a 15 but wouldnt go more there is most likely a short causing this I would inspect the wires going to the stereo if it blows the 15amp fuse
