No brake lights geo prizm

If your instrument panel light isnt working when headlights are on it will be the fuse. I accidentaly shorted when fixing my cigarette lighter and this happened to me. The fusebox is located just behind the battery on the drivers side just under the hood. There are usualy a couple of spares there and a diagram under the lid of the fusebox. Hope this helps.

Horn cigarette lighter use same fuse replaced fuse but neither work

Did you also check the BATT1 fuse in the engine compartment fuse relay center? You should have 12 volts through the BATT 1 fuse, the red wire connected to one end of the CIG FUSE, and the orange wire from the other end of that fuse to the cigarette lighter. If you lose 12 volts along that path, check for broken or burned wires.

Horn started blowing constantly...No voltage at cigarette lighter.....put 12v to lighter wire and horn blows constantly again. need lighter/horn wiring.....there must be a 12v to ground short associated...

the horn circuit is that theres 12v fed to one side of horn and works when its return is grounded at the horn button,,the feed to thec/liter may also be the feed to the horn,,the horn staying on may be the button return spring has calapsed and the contacts not seperating

Need location of fuse box containing cigarette lighter fuse

On some vehicles the cigarette lighter fuse is attached to the cigarette lighter assembly itself. Check if you can gently prise the cigarette lighter assembly out of its location in the dashboard, or remove any panel that may allow access to the rear of the cigarette lighter and look for the fuse (it may be an in-line one in the power lead to the cigarette lighter or it may be physically attached to the cigarette lighter itself). Failing that, the fusebox is normally under the dashboard on the driver side, but some fuseboxes can be found under the dashboard on the passenger side. There should be a diagram under the fusebox cover that shows what circuits each fuse protects. If a fuse has blown ensure that another of the same type and value is used to replace it.

My cigarette lighter is not working in my for my ford focus 1.6 zetec

I would first check the fuse box for any burnt fuses, there will be a fuse diagram in your owners manual or maybe on the cover to the fusebox. If no fuses are burt it is probably a bad cig lighter. good luck.

Radio, clock and lighter quit working

This is the interior fuse. The fusebox is on the left side under the dash, in front of the door. The fusebox door has a diagram identifying the fuses. Replacement fuses are available from any discount store or auto parts store. Use the correct amperage fuse.

Need to replace the fuse for the cigarette lighter

I dont happen to have one of those diagrams, but if you pull the fuses one by one and replace the burnt ones you should be able to 1.) Identify what item is on what circuit (for the most part) and 2.) solve your original problem with your cigarette lighter. Hope this gives you some direction. Thanks for Using FixYa!

Sincerely,
