2004 f250 diesel with dual alternaters & batteries. Alternaters & batteries have both been changed & have had 3 ford dealers try to fix it but will quit charging ti the point the engine dies.

Just a thought.......... If the alternator is not grounded properly to the chasis , it will not charge , and the charge light probably will not come on either. Check for loose , or corroded ground wire or strap.

F350 2004 6.0 brand new alternator not charging new batteries , battery light stays on , what could I be missing?

Just cause its a new alternator does mean it should work. I would check the charge when running cause it could just be a bad alternator.

I have 2002 Ford Focus w/104,000 miles. The

sounds like your alternator isnt functioning correctly.
you can have this tested at a local garage, normally for free. when the engine is running, it should show around 14 amps on a multimeter. also check the battery is serviced. check the fluid levels and a full charge

Ford focus diesal 2004 has a alternater coupling can the bearings be replaced as cant get a second hand one

The coupling your refferring to is the pulley, right?
If you have a special pulley remover, you can use
the old pulley on the new alternator. Sometimes
it's just better left to professional mechanics. Good luck.

Battery light is on

the battery light also is an indicator that your alternater is not charging enough. Autozone can check it for free while still in the car
