Your cam shaft could have changed making the valves open at wrong intervals leading to burnt spark plugs. Bring to a mechanic for repair

This indicates that a problem was detected in the camshaft position sensor. Replace the sensor itself.

My car engine stop running suddenly without any warning in neutral gear position, although I've check using OBD 2 reader there's no error detected. What usually causing this problem?

Hi

have you considered the ignition module that the coil pack sits on because that will cause your motor to randomly stop with out warning.

also the crank and cam angle sensor smay need to be considered depending on the vehicle

I'm having rough idle and smoke all of a sudden with my golf mk4 The oil warning lights up in dash. Oil level ok. Spark plugs not burning well. Replace spark plugs, changed oil filter, changed

Smoke is not a good sign. Running rough is not a good sign. Oil light not a good sign. You could have a combination of bad things, most likely expensive. Suggest professional help. Smoke can be bad rings or holed piston. Low oil pressure can be bad bearing or oil pump.

Multiple misfire smells gas

When you had the coils checked did you get the module checked as well? Is the car throttle body or multi port injection?

Engine warning light stays on

Check your gas cap. Whenyou put in gas the motor is suppose to be off. If there's not a good seal on gas cap that will cause the check engine light to come on. The mechanic should have a code reader for you and tell you what the light means.

Started running bad when I turned on the heater

misfire can be caused by a few things. weak spark, low fuel pressure, to much fuel, vaccum leak. a simple check on this engine is to remove vaccum line from fuel pressure regulator, on fuel rail, driver side of engine. if you crank engine, and fuel leaks out vaccum port on regulator, its ruptured and causing rich fuel mixture. try that and let me know.

Audia4t quattro-dies at stop signs and hard starting

Your first mistake is thinking that the only thing that can cause a misfire is a coil or spark plug. Misfires can be caused by MANY things, including faulty fuel injectors, injector control circuits, blown head gaskets, vacuum leaks, burned valves, broken valve springs, low compression due to cylinder damage, worn piston rings, damaged or worn camshafts, etc..

I would recommend getting this problem properly diagnosed by a professional. Failure to fix misfire codes promptly can cause severe engine damage and destroy high-dollar parts like oxygen Sensors, catalytic converters, engine blocks and cylinder heads.

Did you ever find a solution to the P0304 warning. I am at 40,000 miles on my 07 RL and got the same warning along with an AWD warning. Just got it serviced last week, what a coincidence.

Misfire and check engine light-flashes 12 times

There is a dead cylinder, so its not getting a spark at one spark plug. Check it at Autozone for free, that will tell you where the trouble is.

My check engine light came on this morning (with no prior warning), it is still on, i've been told it could be a number of things ncluding spark plugs, leads, core coil (?), or an number of sensors, it is...

It could be a number of things. I would drive it to autozone or advanced auto and get a engine diagnostics test run. and tell them you want a printout of the results. Could be something you can do yourself or at least show your mechanics when you take it in next week.

My 2004 mpv skips during acceleration and sometimes when i stop at a red light, but the check engine light never comes on. i changed the spark plugs but it didn't help.

I can almost guarantee its the ignition coils. Its common with the 2004 mazda mpv. They are very expensive but I just changed my #3 coil and boy im I glad I did that. With the Mazada mpv 2004 hopefully a check engine light will come on so you can see which ignition coil it is. Once you find out change it and the spark plug that goes under it. If its one of the back ignition coils its gonna be expensive or time comsuming. I would change all three coils in the back and all three Spark plugs so that you dont have to worry about them again since you have to open the manifold just to get to them. I recomend taking it to a auto shop that you trust. While your back their you can change the pvc valve and bromet I think its called (the cushion for the pvc valve). Its all in the same area. The ignition coil could run from about 45 dollars each to about 65 depending on where you go. One more thing, if the check engine light comes on you have to check it quick because it cancells it self out if the ignition coild is not that bad yet. the sometimes it stalls and sometimes it doesnt syndrome. you take it to the shop and it doesnt happen again until your home thing lol. Thats just the beggining of it going bad.

After I changed my Iginition coil and all three spark plugs in the back of the engine the car runs like a race horce. no more stalling. im very happy I did that. It cost me about 125 for the coil and the three spark plugs and a new thermometer for another issue. and about 200 bucks to put them in, I think I got a good deal considering most dealers in nyc charge 100 bucks an hour to work on your car. Its not that big a deal of the work. You just have to know what your doing. It took him about 5 hours to complete the job. I hope this was helpful.
