Coil packs not firing on 2000 s type 3.0 jaguar

The coils have battery voltage running through the primary windings, and grounded in the ignition control module. The engine computer signals the ignition module when to cut the primary current, thereby inducing high voltage in the coil's secondary windings and spark at the spark plug.
The computer processes all sensor information, but primarily from the crank position sensor, to determine spark timing.

89 Jaguar xj6 won't turn over.

First thing I would do is charge up the battery, and check base fuel pressure with a gauge. Using starting fluid is going to be tough - its the large black hose in front of the master cylinder which is tough to get to.
If it cranks over fast enough, and has fuel pressure and spark, it should start without any help.

Need firing order for 89 5.0 ho gt mustang

Firing order should be 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 with number one being front passenger side and number 5 being front driver side.
If the firing order is off it should backfire.

2000 Jaguar S Type. How do I check to see if the caqr is firing?

They make a little gauge that you put on a wire to see if have voltage in it. If not, you can pull a plug and ground it and crank it over and look for a spark. Pull off the coil wire and listen for a crack, Squirt some fuel into a cylinder and see if it will fire. A couple ways to check. Hope this helps.

95 Jaguar XJ6 will not start and No codes present?

During cranking @crk sensor u should see up to 1 ac volt. Also if cam position sensor is @ fault u may not get a code, internal fault. Cam sensors are not availible, but rebuild kit is availible. The engine has to be set to top dead center aligning mark on crank pulley & tab aswell as mark on cam sensor itself.
