Trying to remove stock tape player from 1995 odyssey do i have to take the entire dash off?

No...only the centre piece around the stereo...there are screws visible when you open glove compartment and around near steering wheel side...and down at the centre drawer....pretty basic. Just a pain in ****.

On my 2002 Santa Fe, while playing the radio the speakers keep going on and off; but the cd player is fine. How would I gain access to replace the stereo?

to access the stereo you need to remove the dash piece around the control panel. after that you will see 2 or 4 screws holding in the stereo housing remove that and the stereo should slide right out. good luck.

How do you get the radio out of a 1991 ford escort gt

take the panel around the stereo off and you wil see 2 holes on each side of the stereo. cut 2 pieces of coat hanger 10" long each bend them in a u shape and insert them vertically on each side of the stereo. that will release the lock holding it in and you can pull pry it out easier.

How do i take out my radio from my toyota corrola

The Toyota Corolla has been around long enough that many owners find themselves needing to replace the factory stereo. Installing a new stereo in the Toyota Corolla gives improved sound and updated features. Swapping out the stereo in the Toyota Corolla takes basic tools and less than an hour. This article covers models from 1990 to 2000.

Open the hood and remove the negative battery cable from the terminal. Apply the parking brake and place the car in "D."

    > Remove the trim from around the stereo by prying with your fingers at one corner. Some early models have two screws at the top of the trim piece to remove first. Allow the trim to hang on the drivers side of the dash if it's connected to the cigarette lighter.
    > Locate and remove the four screws holding the stereo in place. Pull the radio out of the dash and disconnect the wires from the back of the head unit.
    To install
    > Connect the wiring harness adaptor to the original harness and let it hang from the dash. Slide the new stereo into the Toyota radio mounting kit, which is a thin metal cover and secure it per the manufacturer's instructions. Most adaptors have screws to hold the stereo in place, however some have clips, which engage automatically.
    >Plug the wiring harness adaptor and antenna wire into the back of the new head unit and push the entire assembly into the dash. Reconnect the negative battery cable and turn the radio on.
    > Ensure all of the stereo controls and speakers are working. Secure the radio in the dash with the original four screws and replace the trim.

This should be simple for you as i just did this recently. all you really need is a phillips screwdriver. first just use your fingernails in the groove to pull / pry off the harder plastic frame piece of the dash that wraps around the stereo, spedometer, air vents ect. You will have to move the steering wheel all the way down and play with the shifter (if automatic) to get it all the way off. it is only held on by clips and should come off and on fairly easy. After you get that off there are three scews that connect the stereo to the dash. just remove them and the whole piece should pop out.

gently pull of the moulding around the top ac vents and control knobs, then yes, use a flat head screw driver to pry at the feathered mount at the bottom of the stereo. careful not to pull to hard the ac/heat controls could disconect. pain in the *** to put back.

2007 Chevy Impala LT stock stereo

pop out the center trim piece with a flat head screwdriver. Center dash piece may be brushed aluminum or wood grain depending on trim level. It should pop out easily working all the way around it. Then radio is held in with 7mm screws.
