.The control module provides the APP sensor a 5-volt reference circuit and a low reference circuit. The APP sensor then provides the control module a signal voltage proportional to pedal movement. The APP sensor 2 signal voltage is low at rest and increases as the pedal is depressed. When the control module detects that the APP sensor 2 signal or the APP sensor 5-volt reference voltage is outside the predetermined range, DTC P2125 sets.

No messaage of reduced engine power ? Your vehicle has electronic throttle control . Has four position sensors , two are located in the gas pedal ,an two in the throttle body . The PCM uses these sensor to know how much to open the throttle plate ,allowing more air into the engine . How did you read this code an where did you read it's definition at ? This is not a code for your vehicle . Some time cheap code readers get them wrong .

Reduced Engine Power Mode
When the ECM detects a condition with the TAC system, the ECM may enter a reduced engine power mode. Reduced engine power may cause one or more of the following conditions:
• Acceleration limiting--The ECM will continue to use the accelerator pedal for throttle control; however, the vehicle acceleration is limited.
• Limited throttle mode--The ECM will continue to use the accelerator pedal for throttle control; however, the maximum throttle opening is limited.
• Throttle default mode--The ECM will turn off the throttle actuator motor and the throttle will return to the spring loaded default position.
• Forced idle mode--The ECM will perform the following actions:
- Limit engine speed to idle by positioning the throttle position, or by controlling the fuel and spark if the throttle is turned off.
- Ignore the accelerator pedal input.
• Engine shutdown mode--The ECM will disable fuel and de-energize the throttle actuator.
Diagnostic Test Code (DTC) P1125 Has to do with your Accelerator Pedal Position Sensors (APP).
The APP sensor 1 and APP sensor 2 are potentiometer type sensors with the following circuits. • A 5-volt reference circuit • A low reference circuit • A signal circuit The APP sensor 1 signal to the PCM is low at rest and increases as the pedal is depressed. The APP sensor2 signal also low at rest and increases as the pedal is depressed. DTC P1125 sets when BOTH of these sensors have a problem. It will not set if only one of the sensors are not reading correctly. This code also does not set alone. There will be at least 2 other APP fault codes set along with this code and these codes MUST be diagnosed first.
it sounds me like the app sensor is bad, i dont think tps will cause reduced engine pewer, but app sensor will . u have to replace the trottle body to fix the app sensors uder the hood.
replace the accelleator pedal to fix the app sensors n the cab.
there is a ground wire in the big wire loom behind the intake if u loose ground ull get that reduced power issue i replaced throttle body and accellerator pedle n had the same reduced power few minutes after test drive came back cleared the codes then found a hit on idenafix for ground in the big wire loom ground went to fire wall and was bearly hanging on broke when i touched it fixed it witha crimp on fitting, havent had the code set since
These trucks have a drive by wire system,we seen a` lot with a broken ground wire on the rear of the drverside cyl head,this is hard to see just feel and give the wire a tug .If the wire is loose or broken the reduced engine power light will come on.

I have seen this code and this driveability issues before, I will need a little more information about your car to tell you exactly what your problem is, Honda has two different types of throttle bodies for this especific vehicle, drive by wire and cable operated, if your vehicle uses the drive by wire type I would highly recommend to replace the throttle body actuator, if it uses the cable operated one it will be necesary to do a little more testing, let me know if this helps
