The tail lights and the dash lights are on the same fuse, so , if you don't have dash lights then there is a good chance that your tail lights are out too. There is a fuse in the fuse box on the drivers side end of dashboard, which can only be accessed if the door is open, replace the one marked "tail lamps " and see if this doesn't fix it.

Tail lights don't work and instrument panel won't light up on 2007 corolla

you blew a fuse. check fuses in both fuse boxes..
ahh yes, the IP cluster lamps are dad, but not the idiot warning lights
only the parking lights in the cluster are dead. right.?
and the park-tail, running lights and dash dim lights are all the same.
my guess three is a short on the TAIL fuse, the TAIL fuse blew
and took out: park-tail, running lights and dash dim lights are all the same.
it blew. most are marked tail even thought it runs side lamps and front parking lamps... TAIL is wrong, they are parking. lamps it truth.

Dash lights wont work when my95 acura is on but i have after market security and that makes them flash when locked or unlocked and it flashs but when car is turned on and lights are turned on the dont work...

there are like 15 lights, idiot lights and park/dim.
are all idiot lamps out, or just the parkings.
like CEL, Charge, Oil, Brake,
if the main warning lights are all out, key on, and engine runs
and head lights are full bright.
then you blew a fuse, as always, check fuses first.

My 2002 ford ranger running lights and instrument panel dont work

12V power passes through 15A fuse 33 (the one that keeps blowing?) in the battery junction box and on to the main light switch. When the main light switch is set to PARK, 12 volts is routed via the BRN lead to the park filaments of the dual park/turn lamps. These lights remain on when the headlight switch is turned to HEAD.

The main light switch gets its 12V input from 7.5A fuse 11 in the central junction box and the same 15A fuse (33) identified above. When the main light switch is set to PARK, 12 volts is routed via the BRN lead to the instrument panel dimming module and module output is applied to the panel illuminating lamps. These lights remain on when the headlight switch is turned to HEAD.

The input to fuse 33 is hot all the time so should read 12V. If you read 12V at the TAN/WHT connection with the fuse out, something is definitely not right. I'm sure you have noted that the fuse is common to the non-functioning circuits you mentioned.

Where is the fuse for the lights inside a 2002 s10

It appears that there is only one fuse for the entire interior light system which is located in the main fuse box in the engine compartment. It is a 20 amp fuse. Specifically which lights are not working? The instrument lights go through a dimmer switch on the control panel, some of the other lights are controlled by an interior light control module which is activated by the door switches.

Dash lights dont work on my 97 blazer

All lights, or just your illumination lights? Illumination: bulbs need replacing. All lights; SERIOUS problem. There is a dash panel fuse on car. check that. Has anyone done any work recently under dash( like installing a radio)? May be they accidentally pulled a connector loose behind dash. Need to pull your instrument cluster to check that. Usually two big connectors with lots of wires going to back of instrument cluster. If no power at all with key on: check under hood at power distribution center for a main big fuse out.

What do all the idiot lights mean on 2001 gmc isuzu 3400 diesel - especially the one in the center that looks like a goal post for football, with 3 verticle bars above the goalpost cross bar?

IDIOT LIGHT
A derogatory term for an instrument panel warning light. They're called idiot lights because they're for idiots who don't know how to read or understand gauges. Actually they're not all bad. An idiot light won't give you any indication that a problem is developing until it happens. On the other hand, a light commands more immediate attention than a gauge. The "ultimate" instrumentation should include both: gauges to give an accurate indication of coolant temperature, oil pressure and charging current, and lights to catch the driver's attention when readings approach the "danger zone."

The power mirrors, interior light, and stereo does

There is a module built into the instrument panel that controls the interior lights. If that thing goes bad, you have to replace the entire instrument panel. Everyone always says check the fuses, of course you would have done that before running to your computer to ask a stranger what to do! The instrument panel is expensive, I hope thats not your problem, thats my problem. Good luck.

Running lights not working

The fuse box is located below the instrumental panel (below ashtray).
Here's a link to the entire Owners Manual. The fuse section is on pages 41-42.

Back up lights ,instrument panel

My reverse lights went out as well on my 98. There is a sensor that engages the backup lights when the car is put in reverse. It is located under the battery and it is a pain to get to, but we were able to locate it and correct the sensor where it would engage the reverse lights. This is likely the cause of your problem as well. You will probably need a dodge neon repair manual if you don't have one, if you want to locate the sensor yourself, or better yet, just let a mechanic pull the battery and do all the boring stuff for you. I would suspect the charges would be nominal. As far as your instrument panel, that happened to me as well. I pulled the dash off and removed the entire instrument panel and cleaned all the connections with electrical contact cleaner, available at auto parts store. This corrected my problems with the instrument panel. I can also highly recommend not whacking your dashboard when your instrument panel doesn't work, as it can cause your car to completely shut off! Learned that one the hard way! Hope this helps.

Changing instrument panel light bulbs

You have to remove the entire cluster assembly to get to the bulbs, there is no other way, no room for this man's hand at the back.
