Where is the vehicle speed sensor located on a 2002 Kia Optima V6 2.7L

Should be mounted on the transmission. Go to PEPBoys or CHECKER or other parts store and look at the replacement part. Then you should be able to recognize it under the hood.

REInstall a Starter

First shut everything off in the car, especially radio this should prevent you having to recode it, now disconnect the battery positive terminal. Locate the starter under the engine and bolted to transmission. Disconnect the wires at the back of the starter, then unbolt it from the transmission housing. replace starter and proceed to hook everything back up in reverse order.

My 05 kia optima is loosing power

To confirm the clutch is slipping , drive at about 35mph in 5th gear and then put your foot to the floor (making sure the road in front is clear!) IF the engine note increases along with the revs and the speed stays the same then it is the clutch that needs replacing.
