You need to fit a suppressor between the chassis and battery negative. This is basically a capacitor which allows the transfer od alternating currents to ground but maintains the direct current reference of the battery negative. This is definately the problem if you rev the engine and the pitch is heard on the radio.
Should be able to get one from any motor factor.

I have a vm9114 Jensen in dash and I'm getting a lot of static From the radio station I've tried new radios different antennas and still have this problem what could it be

Static in radios especially if the static varies with RPM.s is a sign that there is a sparking action going on in the electrical system. This can generally be traced back to an alternator that has pitted slip rings and dirty brushes.. Normally it can be fixed by reconditioning the alternator or having an accredited auto electrician attach a small capacitor to the alternator ( Bat terminal for the lead ) with the capacitor bolted to an earth point . Seek advice from the electrician and radio fitting shops .

My check engine light is on and my aftermarket radio will not turn on. Any suggestions to what the problem might be?

Yes, the two issues that you are having are not related in any way, except they share the same platform that you own and drive, and like to listen to.
I urge you first to listen to what that check engine light is telling you: The light being on is to alert the driver that the computer has detected a malfunction in its engine management system. The computer stores this information as a retrievable trouble code, and trips the light on. The whole point of computerized engine controls is to run the engine as efficiently and economically as possible. While it's doing that, the alternator is providing enough electrical power to run the engine and all of the other functions the car is equipped with. So have the computer scanned for trouble codes (some parts stores provide scan service free of charge) and solve that problem first. Then you'll still have a good running car and can fix the radio. I guess the first place to start after the fuses would be to pull off the connector at back of radio and check for power in at the feed wire. And then, you know, the usual, check the ground for the radio, check the speakers for power and if they work or not. Someone will have to troubleshoot all that.
Good luck.

Car radio doesn't work

It sounds like the antenna wire may have come loose from the radio or the antenna - would be worth checking. Just remember, if you can't get in behind the radio, and you have to pull it, don't disconnect the wiring harness, or you'll need an unlock code to make the radio work again.

AM radio has constant static -- FM is perfect, as is the sound system. The AM radio has no static when engine is not running. Please help

the cause of this is a defective is due to one of the following:
1. Antenna is defective or Antenna coax lead to radio shield ground
2. Antenna ground is dirty or corroded
3. Poor radio chassis ground.
