If this is the original battery, it is time to give it new life. With winter coming, you don't want to be stuck with a mediocre battery.

I would agree, but in warmer weather in summer and garaged in winter shouldn't be a problem. Usually, origional batterys last longer than replacements. The winters where I am at usually the temp is -20 celicous on good day's and any where between -28 to - 40 on bad days.I usually get 4 to 5 years out of mine while parking outside. The wife gets the shop but you do make a good point.

Speedometer does not move at all, this problem just appeared yesterday. i noticed even if i go into the passing gear, it still does nothing. this is a 2004 buick lesabre. onlt 80,000 miles on it.

Hi and welcome to FixYa!

If that's the case then the problem will be on the speed sensor itself. The speed sensor is located on the transmission itself. You will have to remove the connector before removing the speed sensor. By then you can start the replacement. Once replaced you'll be good.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

I have a 2004 buick lasabre and it has a low oil pressure reading.what should it has 120.000 miles

I suggest that you replace the oil pressure sensor. Change oil 10w30 and use a delco pf 47 filter or wix. Never use a fram filter. Mine has 301,000 miles on it.

2004 Buick Lesabre uses quart of oil in 3K miles. Is this normal?

No it's not have your engine check for oil leaks, also have then do a wet and dry cylinder compression test this will let you know if you are burning oil, also have them check the spark plug's.Hope this was helpful.
