You will need a break for sure to take care of your brakes.... have it checked the first thing so that the brakes are in order and you might not have to have a very long break!!

Your calipers, your brake pads or the settings can be loose .

Why does my brake pedal have to much travel?

one reason is that the master cylinder is leaking between the chambers and means the rubber seals in there are worn.

number 2 : brake pads worn and disks bent so when wheel spinning the pads are pushed off so it takes more for the pedal to travel

number 3:the pads are not good quality and splitting as the metal and the material on the metal resulting to similar case as number 2

While switching from park to drive the car jumps, what does that mean?

if your passing down past reverse,, then it may jump a little, when shifting into any gear you should have the brake applied, if its an abnormal Jump, your idle could be set to high which is making the car want to go right away, adjust that as needed,

Fuse good told that brake electric wire bad. what

There is a "Switch" that is pressed by your Breaking foot lever of most vehicles. Grab a flashlight and look for it, Turn the key on and see if you get any voltage to this switch. If you do get voltage to this switch, have someone watch the break lights while you jump the 2 wires. If you have power to it and jump it but still no lights, You must replace the faulty wiring.

Car only starts when jumped, quits when brake pedal is pressed

disconnect all the connections to the battery and clean them , also clean all the grounds, check the alternator to engine ground, and engine to body grounds, what you describe is indication of a bad connection and applying the brake is enough to to lower the voltage needed to power the ignition circuit, brake light use a lot of juice

Brakesa are jumping when brakes are applied

i do believe you mean the service brakes, and when pushing the brake pedal the truck shakes?

Pad transfer will cause uneven brake discs with humps on em. Every time you then step on the brake pedal you'll feel the pads going over the humps, causing the shakes.

The best way to get rid of this is to replace the disc brakes with new discs.
Remember to change the pads too.

2002 tahoe breaks lock up during driving

i would check front and rear brakes if rears are drum brakes i would inspect springs and hardware making sure everthing is conected and in place also make sure they are adjusted properly in the front and if rear disc i would make sure to grease caliper slides these allow caliper to move and its important that all moving brake parts are free push caliper pistons in alittle to see if they are sized or not booster is ok and most of the time when master goes it will leak where it meets booster and you will have a low brake pedal or no brakes

I have a seicento sporting myself. No major issues but sump gasket needs replacement every two to three years, water pump very fragile and requires regular replacement of cooling water as per maintenance schedule, otherwise problems are guaranteed. Similarly for heater blower using hot cooling water. Radiator is a hassle to replace. However overall it is a fun car to drive.
