I have a 2003 Ford Escape with a 1.3L v6 it keeps blowing out the EGR valve and it has no power it will only tab up to 2000 Rpms

You may have a clogged exhaust system, have the exhaust back pressure checked, it should not exceed 3 PSI under a load. If it is clogged the catalyst substrate ceramic brick may have broken up and this blocks the exhaust flow. I am pretty sure you will find this is the problem. Doing test requires a special tool kit that plugs into the O2 sensor port aft of the catalyst converter.

I own a 2002 Ford Escape V6 and the EGR keeps blowing a hole in it ?

I will try to help. Has the "check engine light" come on at all? There are 2 main reasons for a hole. Too much heat from not opening or excessive manifold pressure. Do you get backfires?
What I can suggest is to replace the EGR and connect a "T" fitting to the vacuum line and temporarily run a vacuum gauge to the interior. Then you can monitor if the EGR is even getting a vacuum signal.

If it destroys yet another EGR there must be a burn through inside the manifold and you will need another manifold.

How do you replace the EGR on a 2002 ford escape? How do you replace spark plugs on a 2002 ford escape v6?

To replace the the spark plugs on the V6, you'll need to remove the intake manifold. There is a coil on top of each plug (COP). Check this website for info:

The same link will also show the R&R of the EGR valve.

Error code P0402 2001 Ford Escape

This might sound crazy but it works with these Escapes most of the time. Go buy a can of Seafoam from your part store. With the engine off, disconnect the brake booster vacuum line and place it in the can of sea foam. Start your engine and keep your foot on the gas pedal and keep the RPM's around 2k.The vehicle is going to smoke like crazy for 10 minutes or so, when the smoke clears up for the most part, go drive it for a couple of miles and see if that helps. It cleans out the carbon buildup from you intake and sensors and takes care of that code you getting most of the time. OR, you purge canister needs to be replaced...

Mass air flow sensor or Manifold absolute pressure sensor are two sensors which are interconnected with the EGR valve and both will affect engine performance, in particular the idle.
I don't know which of these sensors the ford escape has , but I would check it out.
