Why does my 88 ford bronco ii hiss when it decelerates from a rev up?

the hiss will be a vacuum leak as the vacuum is at it's highest when deceleration in engine rpms is occurring ( at idle reading is around 15" of mercury but on deceleration goes to high 20's
This will cause a hiss sound in and hoses ,pipes ,brake booster, auto tranny actuator or vent controls controlled by vacuum

Where is the decelaration senser for the a.b.s. o4 tacoma 4x4

Diagnostic Test Code (DTC) C1244 is a "maufacturer-specific" code used by Toyota for this vehicle. Toyta defines this code simply as "DECELERATION SENSOR CIRCUIT."

Possible causes are:
> Faulty ABS deceleration sensor
> Open or short in deceleration sensor circuit
> Defective wiring harness or connectors

The deceleration sensor for your 2004 Toyota Tacoma is located under the passenger seat.

Tests/Procedures: 1. Perform zero point calibration of the yaw rate sensor/deceleration sensor. Potential Causes: Deceleration Sensor Zero Point Calibration
Tech Tips: Code C1336 is for Deceleration sensor zero point calibration undone. To perform zero point calibration, have the steering wheel in the straight ahead position and have the vehicle on a level surface within an inclination of 1%. Turn the ignition switch OFF. Use a jumper wire and connect terminals TS and CG of Data Link Connector (DLC) 3. Turn the ignition switch ON. Keep the vehicle stationary on a level surface for 2 seconds or more and verify that the VSC warning light blinks. Diagnostic Codes: C1336

Engine dies while driving at deceleration

Hi most likely it will be the MAF sensor or air mass sensor.

Also check all your air pipes for any leaks too much or not enough air will choke the engine when decelerating.

Dan

The motor tries to die when decelerating or stopped if i dont keep foot on gas pedal

It may be the idle position sensor. Take it to an autoparts store for a code. This are electronic sensors. Ask the guy where it is located in your particular car.
