Hi, i bought a honda accord 2.2icdti executive 2004. it will start from cold but as soon as u turn off the key even after a long or short run it will not start i have had it checked on 3 different computers but nothing coming up. the only thing that the garage has noticed is that the fuel injector is not working. do any 1 know what could be the problem? also do any 1 know if the injectors are coded 2 the car or can i buy 1 from a breakers yard and then fit it to my car please?

Yes they are coded to car.Like the computer will show which injector cylinder is misfiring or not working. In some cases all injector cylinders gets faulty. But yes you can buy the injectors from the local auto repair shop and replace it.It will work.Just remove the old and insert the new.It will work.If its the injector fault. But as you mentioned the problem. It can be from fuel to spark problem. So first get the fuel pressure checked. It can be checked at any local car garage. If the fuel pressure checked low then its faulty fuel pump and clogged fuel filter. If fuel pressure checked out. Then check the spark plugs. The spark plugs get power from coil pack to spark. So get the spark plugs, the coil pack and spark plugs to coil pack connection checked. It should show 12 volts. The fault is anywhere between this, fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs, coil pack, the spark to coil connection. But but in case all this checked ok then the get the battery checked,it will show 12 volts. If battery checked ok then check the connection between battery to starter and battery to alternator. There should be 12 volts. The car which is running gets automatically charged. This charge is given by alternator. If the alternator is faulty the battery will not get charged.and loose its voltage during driving and this will not let the car to start. If all this checked ok then check the crank shaft sensor, the tps sensor, the IAC valve motor, the vacuum lines and hoses for any leaks. -----------

I have seen issues like this on other Honda's and the problem turned out to be the ignition starter switch. Do this, jumper power directly to the starter solenoid trigger wire and see if the engine cranks.

I have a Honda Accord 2004 with a code PO339, PO113 &PO344. can you assist in advice to solve these problems

p0339 is crank shaft position sensor related error. you need to be sure that its wiring is not damaged and it is not shorted somehow. if it is broken or getting broken, car may stall, or wont start att all.

p0113 is for intake air tempoerature sensor errors. that sensor measures air ehich enters the engine. it is least important. its effect may not be noticable when weather is not extremely cold.

p0334 is for knock sensor on engine. it prevent predetonation due to ignition conditions appear. it is felt when engine is under load like climbing, and engine speed is low. check for wires if it is ok replace sensor.

we can tell that temperature sensor is not directly effects other sensors.
but knock sensor and crank position sensor is to important for engine. if you have no starting issues, even cold or warm engine, invest on knock sensor first.

I have had this problem on two separate honda accords. Can you keep the engine running if you turn the key to start and then let the key come back just a little? I have had two faulty switches. I could keep the engine running but I had to hold the key between run and start position.
