If you dont have any trouble codes, this usually occurs when the idle air control valve (IAC) is going bad.

Check to make sure that the 15 amp TAIL fuse, the 15 amp DOME fuse and the 15 amp CIG fuse are all good. If you have taillamps that light, a dome light that lights, and the cigar lighter works, you need to replace the clock.

SOURCE: Mazda Tribute Intermittent Starting problem

I can think of 2 possibles,it could be a bad battery cable or an intermitent short in the starter solenoid, check or have the battery cables and there connections on both ends first not only are they a cheaper fix but the problem you describe sounds like a current flow issue.Test them with or have them tested with an ohmmeter they should show o ohms resistance, and while not attributed to the problem I do not reccomend using Bosch spark plugs of any variety, the best plugs for any Japanese vehicle are NGK's,this comes from my personal experience with them and other techs that I have worked with.

You would use the Display button on the left side of the instrument cluster, though it is going to be difficult if you don't read Japanese as I haven't found any information on that part.

On the left side of the dash is a small access door for the fuse panel. Look for fuse labeled CIG, it is a 15A fuse.

That would be the "Cig" fuse located in the Instrument Panel Junction Block. (Located behind the left side of the dash at the lower finish panel.) It is a 15 Amp fuse.

I have a digital clock on my dash board that has always worked fine, I just noticed the other day that it is dead. I checked my fuses but I didn't find any broken, what else could it be?

Clock failure is a common issue with Corollas and Camrys of this vintage. If the fuse is not at fault, then it is most likely an internal issue. I offer a reasonable repair service at www.autoclockrepair.com

Hi , i have toyota corola 2006 model I have problem with dash bord clock light - bulb not working kindly advice what cani do thanks .. amer f

The fuse in postion 32 (15 Amp) in the box under the dash by the steering wheel also powers your cigarette lighter and radio also powers the clock. If only the clock is dead then it is not a fuse issue. This is a very common problem with the 96-05 Corolla clocks. The clocks are very prone to internal failure. I offer a reasonable repair service with a lifetime guarantee, check it out:

Clock out on 2004 toyota corolla

There is a defect in the clock itself and is common to many Japanese auto makes. The good news is that it can be repaired at a reasonable price at www.subaru-clock.com.

All you have to do is remove the clock and follow the directions posted on the website.

You can find helpful removal instructions for the Corolla at http://www.pro-fit-intl.com/Adobe/MV-50-03-L-p15.pdf.
