If you want to keep it for another 180000 miles, definetly.....just ensure that it is only head gasket, take for a second opinion, and tell them what you told the first mehanic, dont tell them head gasket, and if they diagnose the same, ask for cost......if close to the first one, go back to him, since he treated you right in the first place.....

Could be a blown head gasket. You may need another engine but a used engine installed should not cost more than the car is worth.

I have a 97 LHS and the heads gaskets, possibly the heads, i was wondering if i should use the product call

Liquid Steel, Steel Seal, Duralast-all make a product with sodium silicate that is supposed to seal head gasket leaks. Some swear by it, most mechanics say it is a temporary fix or doesn't even work. It is about $90 per application, but check, I think the cost is refunded if it doesn't work. Some people have even bought sodium silicate (liquid glass) at a pharmacy for a few bucks and claim it works. IDK, it might be worth a try, if you just don't want to replace the gaskets. Google it, it's everywhere, even some testimonials on Youtube. Let us know if it works for you.
Good luck.

I changed my oil once and drove it home then it stopped running for a moment the oil still looked like a milk shake

You most likely have a blown head gasket allowing the water and oil to mix. What does the water in your cooling system look like? Do you see any brown froth or droplets? If so, you should consider towing to a mechanic for an opinion. Most likely, the cost of the repairs may not be worth it if the car has too many miles on it. Sorry.

1986 F-250 work truck with a blown head gasket, guy wants $700 for it, includes the parts to make the repair. Is it worth it?

Hello cjin4z, an 86 F-250 is a workhorse, and a fine one at that. If you, or someone you know can replace the head gasket, I think you are getting an excellent deal, if you're sure that all that's wrong with it. I say YES!
Good luck my friend.
