1994 audi cabriolet automatic im attempting to buy but i have a question the car starts fine but after running for a bit the car is hard to restart if you let sit for a while it will restart

Engine temp sensor, i had the same problem on my 04 audi a6, the part was 20 bucks at autozone.

There is a key over ride position if your boot becomes locked due to electrical failures you have to turn the key in the boot lock that bit further then push in the barrel.

Picture the slot position something like ten past eight rather than 6 oclock or five past seven

this is one car that when it gets to a certain age all expensive bits that are due to fail, do fail,skoda dealers labour cost 1/3 of audi and nicer peaple.try scrapyards for bits (london area best)

Hi there i have a 1994 audi cabriolet 2.6 the problem is when i start the car the abs light comes on and it does not go off can you help me THANK YOU.


You have either a faulty ABS sensor (aka wheelspeed sensor - one at each hub on the car) or your ABS controller is bad. You need to have the car scanned by VAGCom (the Audi diagnostic scan software) - it will tell you which part is failing.
