Question about 1990 Jeep Cherokee Limited
Engine will start and idle for a split second and then die-if i force the ignition-"holding it in the on position it will idle". i have checked all hoses and wiring and all basic fuses and the wiring on the ignition assembly. i have replaced the crankshaft positioning sensor-the fuel filter-and the idle air control valve or stepper motor. alternator and battery seem to be ok too!
i was wondering if it could be one of the fuses or sensors in the engine area? and how can they be tested without the diagnostic machine? or is this my last resort? thnx
