Question about 1995 Dodge Caravan
Thank you for your response shareavoice.
Here is an update for my Caravan: There is no longer the popping sound when turning sharply. Also, it is going into third gear, not second when it is slow to shift. This only occurs on cold mornings when it is cold, we park it outside.
Please give me more info. on the torque converter. Is this something a mechanically inclinded person can do, or is it best left to the transmission guys?
I don't know if shareavoice have or will answer but if you know how to take a transmission out it will be no problem do it just make sure to add at least a quart of trans fluid to the new converter and before removing the transmission make sure to remove the bolts from converter to flywheel to do that you have to remove the starter and turn the engine by hand by placing a tool on the cranshaft pulley bolt and keep turning until you remove all the bolts behind the starter hole
