My turn signals dont work - 1997 GMC Yukon

When you turn them on do the lights on the dash light up but don't blink? If that's the case than the flasher may be bad. If nothing lights up check the fuse. If that's o.k. check for power at the flasher. If there is power there use a jumper wire to jump the two connection on the connector for the flasher. If the turn signal light up than the flasher is bad in this case as well.

If there is power at the flasher and the jumper wire trick doesn't work than the switch is probably bad. Sometimes you can wiggle them and get the turn signals to work. The other thing that is common with a bad switch is the brake lights don't work except for the third (middle) brake light.
