I haven't got a solution. I just have the same problem. The interior bulb regularly blows, about every couple of months. The local dealer suggested roughing the contacts with emery cloth, which is almost impossible to do.

Hi, my Suzuki swift 2008 has a problem. My back lights, fog lights, all interior lights except radio aren't working. I checked the saftey switches and neither one of them looks burnt. Anyome has a clue...

They are all separate circuits, start by checking fuses. Let's start with the interior lights check the bulb if OK check for voltage at the bulb use a test light if the light lights check the door switches.back up lights check fuse then check the bulbs and sockets, same with the fog lights check fuse (does the blue light come on?) remove the bulb and socket from one side, is the socket burned? replace as needed. I hope this helps, take care.

I changed the lightbulb on the interior light of my suzuki swift and the screwdriver short circuited the power how do i fix it and find the problem?

Hopefully you have only blown the fuse for the interior light. To locate the fuse which should be in the main fuse box, the position and function of the fuses is normally marked on the inside of the fuse box cover and also in the owner's handbook. If you don't come right with these, work your way through the fuses looking for a blown one. To ease your search the interior light, which may be shared with some other circuits, the fuse it should be around 15 to 20 amps.
