I have a 2007 Ford Escape 2WD XLT. The car wont start. I replaced the battery yesterday and it still wouldnt start.. So I checked the power on all wires and thought it was the starter relay so I changed it and it started immediately. This morning the car wont start again... it just makes a whitstling noise.. no crank or click.

The solenoid or starter relay could be defective, this is located on the passenger fender. Also, the ignition switch could be faulty.

Other possibility is the Neutral Safety Switch (Automatic Transmissions) or the Clutch depressed switch are disconnected, or broken.

On vehicles with EEC-IV there can be a problem with the PCM module, remote but possible; usually this device is located under the glove box and behind the right kick panel.

Are you check the fuel system (fuel presure, fuel filter clean, etc. etc.).

Feel the heater hoses that go to the heater core under the hood. With the engine warmed up, both hoses should be hot. If not, I would think you have a plugged up heater core.

I have a 2006 Ford escape xlt. The tach, speedo, and odometer are not working. I also have a check engine, brake, abs, battery light that stay on constantly. How can I fix this issue.

Take it to a qualified repair shop. Having a factory or some other professional type scan tool An doing a full vehicle scan of all the computers on the vehicle is where too start .

Reverse light not working on 2009 ford escape

First check the bulbs. To many times I have replaced bulbs. If bulbs are good then you have to go to the neutral safety switch. It on the drivers side of the transmission. You have power in, because other things work. Check power out. Usually a purple or purple/white wire. No power out. Replace the switch. Personally, I would just live with it.

check for battery,battery terminals not clean for good contact,faulty starter solenoid. Tapped the starter with something heavy and try to start.

This feature is programmed into the smart junction box(interior fuse panel) If your vehicle was originally equipped with this feature then you may just need to have it reprogrammed or turned on by the dealer with their scan tool. If it was not originnaly egipped then the smart junction box would have to be replaced.
