Does the immobilized in my 2011 have anything to do with the battery discharging I got both indicators and car wouldn t start

have a load test done on the battery as cold weather kills batteries. A dead battery will energize the immobiliser as the CPU program recognizes that as being stolen.. Use a scanner to reset the CPU program after fitting a good battery

Ram key fob if one was stolen and i reset the old one and a new one will the stolen one work?

yes because you are not changing the program for the immobiliser just reprogramming new keys.

Bypass anti theft in'94 buick skylark that does not have a chip key, just a regular -type key

It dies because the immobiliser is still working as evidenced by the light on. Replace the ignition switch and have the new key programmed to the system

Audi a6 was stolen and key replaced and won't start

the immobiliser is probably the fault here as it is not recognising the new key.

Immobilized car

security system has locked the vehicle. it thinks it is being stolen. lock all doors , unlock drivers door with key ( not the fob) crank the car with door shut with the key.
if it doesnt work try locking doors leave car unattended for 30 min try again. if that doesnt work connect a battery charger to the battery . leave key in the run ( not start) position for 30 mins and try to start it then. if that is unsucessful tow it to dealer

What is the SKIS system and how do you fix it

Sentry key immobilized system, basically it's a vehicle theft syst, and on the 98 grand you cannot disable it, a faulty syst will let the vehicle start and run for a few seconds then still out, but if you keep trying it more then 3 times the syst goes into lockdown, thinks its being stolen.. Largest prob I have seen is faulty key, if you have a spare key try it, some SKIM modules have been bad before too, 1st question is has anyone put a after market alarm or remote start on this vehicle? They can screw up lots of things when they go bad.. If so remove that first..

My xr6 won't start. Comes up saying immobilized.

It is low battery voltage. It's a common problem with late model falcons, being more demanding on battery voltage. The original batteries were only warranted for 12 months and were not really up to the task. Your best solution is replace it with a good quality higher capacity battery, around the 600CCA range. This is also true for the bf falcons. Generally when the battery is starting to die you will get airbag errors popping up for a few weeks then after a while it will immobilise.

Immoboliser Faulty

these immobilisers on hyundai are a chip installation in key ? considering age of car and use of ign key it may well be the worne key ist causing intermitant problem ? ask mother did she get either another ign master key or a tag with the key code number stamped on it for obtaining a replacement key with the car ? as with each new hyundai you get 2x keys and either one of the above with all documents/handbooks etc try hyundai main office b4 you consider trying to cut out immobiliser? this would affect your insurance if it is stolen and found to not have working immobiliser

Wont Start

Could be the immobiliser.  Do you have the original keys?  If your key does not have a remote unlock, it's likely to be a "spare" key, which doesn't have an immobiliser chip in it.  If you take your VIN to your dealer, they can get you a new key - at a cost.  I've been quoted over $400 to have a key replaced.
Hope this helps.
