Is the fuel pump running? Take the gas cap off and put your ear by the filler. Now have someone turn the key to the on position (not all the way to start). You should hear the fuel pump run for about 3 seconds. If you don't hear the pump run, the most likely culprit is the fuel pump itself. Second possibility is the fuel pump relay.

Turn ignition on / off. Next to the air intake is a valve that looks like a tire air valve. Push the stem and see if fuel squirts out. If not you have a fuel pressure problem and you need to re-check what you did.
Fuel pump
Filter
Shut off switch
Plugged fuel line or return

Obviously if it runs after using starting fluid it cannot be a spark issue. Without spark it wouldn't run at all.

a common problem that people overlook is the coil pack, you failed to mention replacing that. its what provides the actual spark to your spark plugs. if its malfunctioning then not all your spark plugs are getting a good charge and firing.
