A VOLTAGE DRAW WILL NEED TO CHECKED. SOMETHING AS SMALL AS THE DOOR SENSORS COULD CAUSE THAT PROBLEM.GLOVE BOX NOT CLOSING,REALLY NOT A BIG PROBLEM TO FIND. HAVE SOMEONE SIT IN THE VECHILE ONCE YOU CLOSED THE DOOR AND LISTEN,DO A VISUAL INSPECTION YOURSELF BE SPENDING MONEY.

I have a 99 Pontiac grand am gt that has a good alternator that isn't charging the battery. The wires are connected correctly and the connections are clean and the battery terminals are clean as well....

Have you taken the battery to autozone or someplace and had the battery tested? I would find if you know the alternator is good it must be the battery itself. Might want to try that if you havent already. Good Luck Bro~

Will altenator cause motor not to start even though you are getting fuel and spark

ALtenator runs your car while it is running and charges your battery. If your altenator is bad you car will run on the battery until it drains the battery dead. So no the altenator will not prevent you car from starting. Check your fuses.

1990 Volkswagon Rabbit the battery keeps going dead

are you sure you're not leaving any inside lights on inside? if so, check the battery for a dead cell, have the battery load tested. if not that, check the altenator for bad diode. can buy a rebuilt altenator for it. or if you choose, new one for it. just to be sure you cover all bases, check to make sure your altenstor belt is on it. i hope this helps!!

The battery went dead in my 2005 nissan altima, replaced battery now my clock or radio wont work.

Hi,

The clock & radio usually share the same accessory fuse.

1. Check the 10A Radio/accessory fuse in the cabin fusebox and replace if blown.
2. Check the fusable links from the + (red) battery cable to ensure they're ok and secure.
3. Check accessory relay, in engine fusebox.

Please advise outcome...

Alternator not charging battery are there any electrical fuses

As long as you have had the charging system and belt checked and they are o-kay. You should be alright just make sure you disconnect the negative battery cable before starting. If the charging system wasn't checked have it checked first. Depending on how the battery goes dead you could have adraw on the battery, a bad battery, a bad belt, broken wire, bad fuse link just to mention a few. Be sure before you replace alternators are not cheap, not being sure could be an expensive mistake. Good luck.
