Question about 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 4WD
The seat belt on the passenger side wont release and I need to know how to release the belt. The retactor is in the seat due to the extended cab, any help would be great!
So after completely tearing the seat apart I found 2 wires going up to the seat belt mechanism from under the seat, these wires got caught in the seat mechanism underneath and were shredded. There must be a small solenoid inside the seat belt mechanism because I could hear it click after I repaired the wires(this circuit is live even with the ignition off) Im not sure how it all works but this solved my problem.

Replace fuses. tried myself taking apart both front seats with that exact problem, just screwed the driver side then replaced fuses and passenger side released.

If the door is not latching properly, a torx drive bit will fit into the latch pin itself and you can move it a little further outward. If the door is sagging (don't quote me on this, i'm not real familiar with the model), you may be able to loosen the hinges and lift the door, you may have to replace the hinge pins, or the hinge altogether.
