The problem that I have is there is no power to the Video cassette player in the console. Nor is there any power to the video display unit in the rear. Chilton shows no diagram nor fuse location nor does the owners manual.I have removed the unit from the console and checked wiring and for power. There is no fire at plug for VCP but radio is fine. I have checked all fuses in power box and under dash box.No blown fuses. I am a ASE Master Mechanic but not an Audio Video guy. I had hoped to find one of you guys familiar with this system. Every one so far is telling me to buy another repair manual that may have the diagram in it.Not trying to be a smart a-- I could have done that without paying to be told go to another source. Come on guys give me some help here please. Thanks Jimmie

I have already fixed my problem myself.Do you guys read the comments from a customer? I had already stated that I checked all fuses and they were fine. So why tell me to check the fuses again and let you know what I found out. Tennima
What fuse runs the vcr and video screen in the 2001 Ford Expedition? I don't even know which one. The diagram I have doesn't say vcr or video anything. Please help.
I am having the same problem on my 1999 Oldsmobile Silhoutte. There are no fuses labeled for the Entertainment System that I could find. Could it be labeled differently or tied with something else? I don't know if this is just coincedence but the back brake lights do not work also.( Lights checked good)
Have you checked to see if there is power at the specific fuse for the vcr and the video display that are on the same power wire. Since there is no power to the back, it is possibly broken or disconnected somewhere along the way. The wiring usually runs down the bottom of the vehicle below the carpet. If I were you, I would try a new wire to the plug and see if that works but first test at the fuses to make sure they are getting power since they see fine. There shouldn't be any other fuses in the vehicle except for those two spots. Let me know what you find when testing at the fuses. thanks

I didn't say to check the fuses, I said to check at the fuses for power coming to the fuse. I'm sure the fuse is fine if you're saying so but the fuse does no good if there isn't any power coming to it and running through it. Did you have a look into this at all? If there is no power at the fuse box then the problem is between it and the battery instead of between the fuse box and the entertainment system. Do you get what I am saying? Please get back to me on this.
