WIPERS JUST STOPPED WORKING, SAW A RECALL BUT THE DEALER IS SAYING IT IS VIN NUMBER SPECIFIC. THEY ARE INVESTIGATING IT. I JUST PURCHASED IT AND AFTER ONE DAY IT JUST STOPPED. I CAN HEAR THE MECHANISM WORKING BUT THE WIPERS ARE NOT MOVING BUT WILL MOVE IF YOU PUSH THEM UP AND DOWN WITH NO RESISTANCE

I have the same problem with my 1998 Mazda 626. Was told it was not the motor but the linkage? But can not find one at a decent price. Or anyone who cares one. Is this the correct thing I am looking for or do I need to replace the whole motor? Was told it was just a little plastic piece. Need some help.

Was there a recall on the brake boosters in 2008 Saturn Vue XE

If you call the service department at your local chevy/gmc dealer and give them your Vehicle Identification Number, they can tell you if there was a recall on your specific vehicle. Many recalls had VIN breaks where only certain number ranges were recalled. It's always safer to call the GM dealer.

I have a 1997 Buick bought at Buerkle Buick new. It has a wind shield wiper recall. What do I do to get the repair?

How were you informed of the recall...usually this is a letter that has reference numbers and contact information too. Do you mean 2007 Buick not 1997 Buick? Irregardless, a recall is a recall...you can contact Buick on line for the nearest GM Dealer to you...or as you are aware of there location, drive to the service entrance and explain the purpose of your visit...if a wiper recall exists...the GM Dealer will have the help you need. Hope this helps.

Intermitten wiper only operates on fast, nothing else works, no intermittent, wiper will stop wherever it is, when cut off.

you need a new Wiper Motor Circuit Board. Some of these were covered under a recall from GM. Call the dealer and see if its covered, They will need your VIN number,if it is, they will replace it FREE.

check ur fuses - if good remove the wiper blades and see if the motor will turn the little knobs - if it does then most likely u need a new motor - how many miles can make a difference too

I have a 2006 dodge magnum and the windshield wipers stopped working about a year ago. i have changed the fuse and still no response. shouldnt this be a recall?

It is only a recall when the problem has consistently been a problem across all magnums, or all dodge vehicle that have the same wiper motor. Generally unless there is a huge problem and there is a large outcry for replacement, companies do not recall items unless they post a safety hazard. Check with your dodge dealer and they should be able to tell you about any available recalls based on your vehicles vin number. Other than that it sounds like you need to purchase a new windshield wiper motor.

1996 blazer wiper blades not working

can you be more specific? wat have you checked? fuse good? if so, turn the wipers on and rap on the wiper motor, if it starts working, replace the wiper motor circuit board. sometimes these were replaced under a recall. call your dealer and give them the VIN number and see if its a covered item.

Windshield wiper problem

Some of these trucks are covered under a recall. Call the dealer with your VIN number and they can tell you if its covered. IF its not covered, you will need to replace the WIPER CIRCUIT BOARD. or if you are real handy with a soldering iron, you can take the board out and ck for cracked solder joints. COMMON PROBLEM. ; )
