i have a 1990 volvo 740 gle do you know where it is or better yet do you know how to get to it..i have the part I just have to get to it to replace it
The switch you looking for is under the center console where the shifter is. You have to take the console apart and look down in there, you will see the switch in question. Sometimes the screws holding the switch in place back out, causing the switch to come loose. You may not need to replace the switch at all.

I drive a 2006 Ford F150 XL 4.6L 8 cyl. The is a used vehicle with only one previous owner. The vehicle has 52,411.8 miles. The vehicle was purchased on 11/29/09 with a clean CarFax report. Today, 12/5/09 when pulling out of a service station parking lot, I creeped to a stop to wait for cross traffic to clear. The accelerator engaged and the engine began revving up without my foot being on the pedal. Lucky for me that my right foot was on the brakes. I stood on the brakes and did a hard right turn to avoid running into the cross traffic. I know that a dirty or rusty accel cable will make the acel pedal hard to depress when you want to go, but I've never had the accelerator engage without being depressed. I intend to get the problem checked by a dealer, and since I'm not under warranty, maybe they will be willing to fix the problem. Otherwise, do you have any ideas as to what might have caused this situation?

I need a reference of some type to return the hoses for the heaters in the correct places after installing a new heater core. It has a heater in the dash and one in the rear of the cabin. Please help with a diagram or some type of explicit verbal instruction. I'm lost. Thanks, Tim
