I have an 1997 4 door Honda Accord SE, auto transmission, that is acting up on me. It is hard to explain but as I am accelerating, it seems to be having a hard time revving up and the harder I accelerate the more it feels like it is "jumping" on me. What I mean by jumping is as I accelerate, it feels like I am rapidly letting off the accelerator and pressing it again. Something similar happened last year and I had gotten my distributor cap replaced, Now it is doing it again. Any suggestions?

You might have too much carbon build-up on the egr ports, in your intake system, causing blockage to the passage of a few cylinders. This lets too much recirculated egr gas enter only one cylinder, causing that overgassed cylinder to misfire and stumble as you try to accelerate.

Check your fire(spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, and rotor button) and air filter, but you might also consider replacing the fuel filter.

1997 Honda Accord SE. I Need wiring diagram for it please. I've searched Google and can't seem to find the correct one.

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved from Honda Motorcycles category.

There are Accord wiring diagrams in the link. 'SE' is only a trim level. If you are doing a lot of maintenance, you need a service manual. If you are doing complex electrical work, you need an auto electrician. You fail to say what your issue is, just that you need a wiring diagram. Vehicle electronics are pretty much beyond the comprehension of 'normal' people.

Also the best way to find wiring info is to break it down if you want free wiring diagrams, Google 'year make model (the part) wiring diagram'.

Please explain what type of problem you are having with the vehicle. There is no such thing as a transmission blower sensor on this car.

My 1997 Honda Accord with a 4 cyl. and automatic transaxle has developed a whine that increases with speed and seems to be coming from the final drive area. My local transmission shop says that starting in...

I had the same problem. You can get a new wheel bearing for about $50 (if I remember right) from Advance or some similar auto parts store. Mine was seized up and had to be cut off.

Car jerks a little when the transmission is shifting gears. It's a 1997 Honda Accord.

not sure how rought but traditionally, Honda's are known to shift rough... its kinda their sporty style. I think its funny that the Accord is considered a "sedan", when clearly is not a Taurus or Impala which are purely sedans.

cheers!

Can only open the driver's side cardoor by rolling the window dow

You have plastic clips in there and sounds like one is broken. If you have a pull a part junk yard around, you may be able to find one. Hard to explain what it looks like. You can remove the door panel fairly easily and look to see what is wrong.

Honda accord exr 1987 automatic trans.

It's hard to understand when you say it feels like a manual shift. Noise? Feel? I do know that the 87 auto trans does have a weak 1st to 2nd shift drum (as explained to me by my mechanic) that makes a grinding, elongated shift under heavy acceleration when it starts to wear. Under normal acceleration, 1st to 2nd shifts were normal (crisp, immediate). Since that day 8 years ago, I've avoided starting off to quickly, and so far have saved myself a tranny overhaul.
