2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab - My check engine light keeps coming back on after reset. The mechanic I normally go to and who reset it for me tells me it's the solenoid or sensor for the gas cap to tell whether or not it's on. I guess what I'm trying to find out is how easy or difficult it would be to change it myself and save at least the labor charges. Also, where might be a good place to get a replacement besides the dealership? Auto Zone, Pep Boys?

I had a simular problem with my truck... It a valve in the Evap System... It's located under the fill tube by the gas tank... It's a black box... Buy a Chilton Repair Manual for better instructions...
