My radio and windows have stopped working and then on again. It keeps doing it. I took out the glove box and moved the wires around behind it and it stopped for awhile but it is doing it again. I see the suggested fix is the control module? If so, where is that?
my radio and windows stop working. if I hit the unlock button enough times they sart working again
My symptoms are identical - I have a '97 Camaro when the radio shuts off the windows won't work. I have a friend at work that has the same problem except he has a convertable so he looses radio, window and top.
I can sometime get it working by smacking the radio. Sometime when I hit a rough spot in the road it will come back to life.
I have found that virturally 99% of the time if the radio/window fail I can shut off the car, push the up window switch and start the car. Like magic.
where is the body control module located on 1999 camaro with same problems as previous owners
I THINK THE PERSON THAT I BOUGHT IT FROM HAD THE SUNROOF INSTALLED MANUELLY
