Question about 1997 Ford Escort
Every time the car is cold it stalls and then takes ages to start again,, but when warms up she is fine 4 rest of day
You might have a cold start solenoid, It is an extra injector that gives it lots of gas on cold start and then turns off when it is up to temp. If you do have one, then it may be clogged or faulty. It is usually located on the intake manifold seperate from the normal injectors. Follow the fuel line and see if it branches off to any other device other than the fuel rail .
