Battery Replacement

Sounds like it may be a battery charger wire. Not sure with out more info. But if your batteries are over 3 yrs old then they are at their life expectancy ... time for a new one. Or you can get a good battery charger that does a reverse charge and you may get more time.. Top off with destilled water and destilled only of it is the style that can open.. Clean the terminals on the battery and the wire with a terminal cleaner tool.... About 10 $ if that doesn't help once the battery is changed you can get a tester for another 10$ that slips into your cigarette lighter and will tell you if your alternator is still good. ... the other common problems are loading up your car with stereo equipment or extra devices that over power the alternator.. The more you got the bigger the battery and alternator needs to be and the other problem is a fellow not replacing the battery wires every 5 years .. They corrode on the inside under the plastic and get a white powder or green white powder which eventually kills them by degrading how much power reaches the battery to charge it.

what do mean the battery was cleaned ? was the fluids inside removed ?

or was the terminals (where the cables connect) cleaned due to some whitish build up ?

If the fluids inside were cleaned you can try (and this will probably not work). remove the battery from the car.

open the battery (the caps where the water goes in). remove the fluid inside (be careful it may be sulfuric acid) then rinse out the battery a couple of times with hot water.

leave battery in sun with caps off to dry out completely.

fill the battery with battery acid.

Put the battery on a trickle battery charger for 24 hours or until charger indicates full charge.

Reinsert into car and connect the terminals.

See if it worked.

If it didnt -> replace the battery

If the terminal were simply cleaned, lossen the terminals with the correct spanner, pour some hot water over the terminals to wash away any residues, then while the terminal are still wet fasten the terminals once again.

Remember that should the fluid inside your battery gets low (should be checked regularly) fill it with battery water (distilled water) only.

The radiator is that flat panel shaped object in the front-most center of the engine compartment. You don't add coolant and water directly into the radiator. On the right side of the engine compartment is a plastic overflow reservoir with a blue cap. That's where the coolant/water mix goes. Run the engine while adding coolant and water. There are fill marks on the reservoir indicating how much coolant/water mix is required. With the engine running, if the radiator is very low on coolant it will repeatedly draw fluid from the reservoir. Continue to add coolant/water mix until the situation stabilizes and the reservoir is filled to the high fill mark.

If you are trying to add engine coolant to the radiator (which is what I believe you are trying to do) make sure that it is a 50% water 50% antifreeze mixture. If you only add water, it will evaporate quickly and in cold weather it can freeze and blow the radiator. When you are adding your mixture always make sure the car is running (in order to not crack the head of the motor) and if you have a funnel great if not try to get it in as best you can. When you open the hood right near the front (near the headlights) is the radiator and there is a yellow or silver cap. Take that off and that is where you add the mixture. As the car gets warmer it will begin to start bubbling so at that point replace the cap, and later when the car cools refill more. You can also use the overflow tank which should be on the left side towards the back but only fill it to the line that is indicated for hot/cold (it will be stamped somewhere on the plastick overflow tank.
