Hi all ive got a problem with my diesel 2.0 4 cylinder auto galant it keeps on breaking the fan belts and even after i replace it it only keeps working for a certain time until it loosens again and even after i tense it again and again it screeches and finally breaks can it be the wheel on the electromotor or the other wheel from the engine or is it a faulty design on the manufacturers side that they built it at a wrong angle and because of the friction it wears it off? cheers

Its all the same you have power steering pump alt maybe air pump .
All mounted on brackets .Their will be 1 long bolt at the pivot point on each with 2 or 3 locking bolts .
Do one belt at a time spray WD 40 where you can on treads its old you might need heat to break them free .
Once their lose moving on the brackets take a pry bar wedge it behind the block and pull back then tighten the bolts .
Keep in mind you need some free play half inch both ways or you will damage bearings driving the pulleys

Hello! I presume from your brief description the ticking/clocking noise goes after a few seconds? if so I wouldn't be at all worried, your Hydraulic lifters are doing there job filling themselves with oil again and getting to work.
If However they are making a clicking/tappety type noise all the time then there is an additive you can purchase specifically designed to assist Hydraulic Lifters of which I would add after a Quality Oil and Oil filter change.
Hope This FixYa's Problem!
