My 2007 lexus es350 vibrates when in gear stopped at stop lights. If i shift into neutral while stopped the vibration goes away. This can't be normal and i'd like to know what would be causing this. Why is this luxury car vibrating? Thanks

already check all mounting

Catalylic converter heat shield rattle?

If there are no check engine lights could be a bad motor mount or two. Would have them checked. Try putting car in neutral and see if vibration disapates a little.

THERE SHOULD BE A LITTLE KEY SLOT RIGHT NEXT TO THE SHIFT SELECT LEVER ..IF THERE IS NO WHOLE LOOK FOR A LITTLE COVER THAT IS ON THE KEY SLOT..JUST INSERT THE KEY PUT YOUR FOOT ON THE BRAKE AND PUT THE GEAR SELECT LEVER IN NEUTRAL..IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE KEYS PRETTY MUCH ANY ONE SHOULD DO

indicates a bad throw out bearing on the clutch
the vibration could be an input shaft bearing or a drive line vibration from a bad joint

Check to make sure both headlights are tight,,,when it rattles at idle go feel the headlight and hold it and see if the noise and vibration goes away,sometimes the headlight has too much clearance and causes a massive vibration,,if thats not it try...loosening all the motor mounts and rock the car back and forth and them retighten them,it reseetles the mounts and sometimes fixes the issue,,also check the lower engine and trans mounts for wear.

Have you tried checking the exhaust heatshields?

Maybe it's the transmission itself. check it.
