It looks like the parking lamp fuse is in the box in the engine compartment marked PARK and the dash light fuse is in the box on the driver side of the dash marked DIMMER. They are two different circuits.
that's day time running lights, your high beams are on when ever your ignition is on and headlights are turned off. If you apply the parking brake it turns off the running lights and the light on the dash goes off, if the parking brake is depressed just to the first racket click the lights will be off.
Mil light. or malfuntion light, is there to let you know that there is a problem with your engine or electrical sistem. either a sensor or actuator is having problems, u need a tecnitian to check ur onboard computer to see the trouble codes related to your car and figure out what need to be replaced or fixed, after that the codes can be deleted and go can go on living a happy life... have fun and i hope this helps
It may seem simple but I would check the fuses. There is normally a fuse for all the dash lights. You didnt say if you checked them in your description so I figured I would suggest it. Remember that the dash lights run through the headlight switch so It could be a bad wire or switch as well.
The owners manual simply says that it should turn on and flash when the vehicle is first turned on. Then it states if it doesn't turn off or if it continues to flash you should "get it serviced immediately". Not a very detailed explanation. But, it is what you will find in the manual.
