    i have just brought a dawoo nubira and the engine check light stays on

    i have checked all fluid levels all ok

Hi there my car was nubira 1997 saloon i love it vary much but i have a one problem,
when i try to start engine at any time did not work diractly it take several sec on more than one switch one then start vary smothly, even when i turn off my car and let it for more than 30 min this problem was return agine
Note: i change the fule pump and chech the ignation coil with all the prand wire and replace th Air Control and clean the TPS and Crank Sensor with no change

Toyota corolla hatch 2002 idle at 2000 rpm when
All the above is normal , except 2000rpm is a little high at idle . can be adjusted down to 1500rpm. the computer adjusts the engine speed . in drive the transmission loads up the engine idle drops to 1000rpm . in park engine unloaded rpm increase all normal.

When I start the car it stays at 2000rpm for a few moments then drops down. I'll drive for a few minutes then put it in park and it revs up and down.
idle air control valve is bad replace it. at start up choke control runs till warm up while driving throttle opening controls engine at idle ,the idle air control valve.

Help please, my vw golf 1.6 sr is loosing mad power. it wont accelerate properly and the revs arent going past bout 2000rpm, rev counter sits below 0 when idling?? it takes ages to even get up to 30
IF YOU SEE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT FLASHING LOOK FOR TURBOCHARGER WASTEGATE REGULATOR VALVE FAULT OR MAP SENSOR FAULT.THAT COULD BE YOUR PROBLEM.IF NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT FLASHING YOU COULD HAVE A RESTRICTED EXHAUST SYSTEM BAD TURBOCHARGER, RESTRICTED FUEL FILTER.ALL THOSE THINGS WILL CAUSE POWER LOST.

Daewoo nubira 1998 check engine light on idles at 2000rpm
Check to see if the connector has come off the air intake, or if there are any vacuum pipes that have come off. it sounds like a vacuum or air intake fault. If you cannot see any fault with the pipes and connectors, then you should go and get it checked out at a garage that has a fault code reader.

Probably not. You can run 'high mileage oil' which helps some and running 10/40 oil instead of 10/30 will help also. Replacing the oil pump and cleaning the intake screen might help too.

Engine runs fast on start up (2000)rpm. when temp rises the engine hunts down and up from 2000rpm. no tick over
This is normal sometimes when it is cold. However, you should let the engine to run for ~ 2 minutes before you drive away...it will dissappear.

Self-adjusting idle brain often idles 1500-2000rpm range.
Faulty oxygen sensor or low fuel pressure can also cause these codes to be set. I'd go for a fuel pressure test when acting up if at all possible just to confirm I have pressure needed. Have heard of coil problems as well. Should be a good blue 1" min. spark from coil.

Asc light comes on and engine cuts out
When your ASC light is on this is to let you know your Automatic Stability Control system is switched off press the ASC button Till light is off /ASC is on this works with your rev limiter and should stabilized your idle. If the problem persists have your throttle control unit checked as thi can trigger the ASC light as well and may also activate the ABS light if not fixed
