I just purchased a 1993 eagle vision tsi and im also having an overheating problems. on the passenger side i notice something leaking i think its my coolant but not sure.what is in that section on...

First check coolant level. Low coolant can cause overheating. If you can see the leak, clean the engine with a degreaser and then look for the leak. If you find it, buy a shop manual or go to the library and see if they have an online shop manual.

When should i change the water pump in a 1996 eagle vision tsi

Change the water pump when it starts leaking or, if you have over 100,000 miles on the car, and you are doing additional work like changing the timing belt. If it will give you peace of mind, go a head and change it. Otherwise, leave it in the car and let it work.
